Dry Garden, Cambridge

A drought tolerant garden using plants as structure and hand crafted terracotta urns to evoke a memory of an old family garden in Italy.

I was asked to remove a dry & tired lawn and create a garden for my clients to relax, entertain & love to spend time in.

An existing dining terrace near the house was given a revamp with new planted borders on all sides to provide a feeling of being immersed in planting, with an enticing journey through the garden to a seating area positioned to catch the last of the evening sun & enjoy aperitivo.
